Overview
Ovasco Industries is a manufacturer, distributor and importer of wiping cloths and flexible packaging that are used in a variety of industrial, agricultural and constructions settings. Since 1920 we have been supplying a wide variety of flexible packaging products and turning waste textiles into a re-purposed resource as wiping cloths.
Our 100,000 square foot facility houses our administrative and corporate offices, space for material conversion, and warehousing for raw and finished materials - all under one roof.
Job Details
We are looking for a high energy sales professional to join our well established but growing company. Candidate must be goal driven and results oriented. We need a motivated, self-starter to build relationships with existing accounts as well as cultivate and develop new relationships. All the items we sell are consumable, meaning that after the first sale, reorders are mostly non-solicited. Ovasco has a large database of prospects to provide to the right sales rep.
We offer a competitive base salary as well as commission based upon performance.
Travel may be required. The company covers all travel cost.
Candidate should be proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Duties and responsibilities
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance as well as researching and recommending new opportunities
- Works prospect list to qualify them as leads with the goal of converting into accounts
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Identifies new opportunities with existing customers
- Works with sales manager to provide competitive quotes to customers
- Identifies new product opportunities for the company
Working conditions
This position works indoors in an office environment. A moderate noise level and temperatures is typical for the work environment of this job. Travel is required
